This child is going to be 21 in just over 2 months. Said child recently bought a used pair of jeans and cool fabric. Said that he wanted to sew in the fabric into the side seams of his jeans.  Really!?  OK.  So a few days before this child heads back to his sophomore year at college he cuts the fabric and asks me to sew with him... Oh my.  I have wanted kids to do projects, to do projects with me, for a long time and it finally happened tonight.  Very fun!
